Rest shouldn’t feel like a chore you add to your to-do list. But so many of us struggle to find the time to rest and then feel guilty about it. What’s worse is when you try to fix your lack of energy by getting more sleep or doing nothing and you still feel exhausted. That’s like a slap in the face!

You know you need to rest. Even God knew and used the seventh day to rest. But one of the main reasons you’re still constantly exhausted is your belief that sleep or doing nothing means rest. Sure it’s a form of rest, but according to Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith’s book, Sacred Rest, there are 7 types of rest you're not tapping into that you need in order to thrive and not simply survive.
