On this episode of 'Network Outdoors The Podcast' Brandon Malson and Mike Buckman talk turkey just after the network announced its 2nd Annual Spring Turkey Slam Hunting Contest.

Mike & Brandon discuss blind setup strategy, indicator calling, turkey calling timing, morning and evening hunting strategies, decoy setups, and a number of great stories!

Turkey hunting this time of year is magical and we’re so excited to have hunters participate in this contest to share their experiences, network, share resources, tips/tricks, and get some new hunters out to witness the thunder chicken woods!

Haven’t signed your team up yet? It’s free, there are some prizes involved, and a lot of bragging rights, BUT you have to be registered by 11:59pm the evening before your state’s opening day begins. To register email  [email protected] your official team name (public appropriate), the names of each hunter on your team (must be 3 hunters - no more, no less) and their email addresses. Rules and weekly scoreboard updates/stories will be sent to you.
