Unforgotten

Ep 41: Paula Ellis

Listen Later

On a Saturday evening, at the end of spring break 1973, Tuscaloosa University of Alabama student Paula Lee Ellis went out to dinner with friends, stopped to see her brother, and then decided to head to an on-campus all-night concert festival at the Woods Quad on a bike. Leaving her dorm, which was only a few hundred yards from her destination, it would be the last time any of her friends would see her alive.

Join us and Capt. Jack Kennedy from the Tuscaloosa Co SO Violent Crimes Unit as we discuss Paula’s case. If you were at the UA campus or the Spring Rave-Up on April 21st or 22nd, 1973, you may have taken some pictures that may have caught something important you hadn't noticed previously. You may have seen Paula on her bike or even with someone. Even all these years later, you may remember the smallest detail or someone has since shared something that's nagging you.
