From the ingredients, to various containers you can use (especially when you have a lot), the best ways to keep your vegetables submerged, there's a lot to learn on the basics of fermentation and how to successfully make tasty Dilly Beans.  

Recipe:

  • Green Beans  | 2039  | grams
  • Dill (Fresh)  | 110  | grams

Spices:

  • Dill (Seed)  | 34  | grams
  • Mustard Seed (Yellow)  | 50  | grams
  • Whole Black Peppercorns  | 8  | grams
  • Red Pepper Flakes  | 2  | grams
  • Coriander Seed  | 1-2  | grams
  • Garlic (sliced)  | 80  | grams

Brine:

  • 1 gallon water  | 3785  | grams
  • Salt  | 150  | grams
    •  ~4 % salt brine

 Tannins:

  • Black Tea Bags  | 4 or 5 
  • Bay Leaves  | 6  | 
  • Grape Leaves  | 1  | bunch
