I should caveat this episode by saying I talk without specifically mentioning long term illnesses or chronic conditions - there is still much you can take from this when it comes to holding space for yourself with compassion. I have an arthritic knee, I can no longer run, so I swim. There are always options, do not let your limitations become the reason you do not having a thriving life (yes again a caveat obviously another comment with privilege - but my whole life's work is about helping you acknowledge pain and frustration to do what you can to still live a thriving life). Allow emotions to exist and work with them as best you can.
