This is a segment from a conversation that Ryan, Joo, & I recorded at the beginning of 2018. Ryan, who had moved away from Tampa a few years earlier, came to town and recorded a series of conversations with locals and had a handful of topics that he wanted to discuss with everyone. This segment of our conversation touches on two of those topics that he had in mind; Hurricane Irma and The Seminole Heights Killer. I just got the recording from him and as I listened to our conversation, I thought this segment seemed the most relevant to some of the experiences we have been facing over the last year or so with COVID 19. Ultimately, I think it's a conversation about facing chaos and what it reveals in us. I'm excited to share this conversation with you and am hoping to work with Ryan on getting all of the amazing conversations that he recorded in 2018 out and available to those of us that want to give them a listen.
