Working For A Dream

EP 49: Ben Humble, Humble CEO- A 10 Year Session of Discipline

Listen Later

You can hear the thrumming of the earth beneath your feet.  Passion, purpose, and intention are the fire starters of most dreams made into reality.  It sounds like the beginning of a movie, doesn’t it?  For some, like our guest today, it’s real life.

Ben Humble, Serial Entrepreneur has had every business imaginable from a janitorial services company where he worked tirelessly to clean up shit to becoming one of the largest privately owned mortgage companies in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.  He’s amassed an impressive real estate portfolio and lives his life where mobility is a non-negotiable.

Today, Patrick and Ben dive deep into discussing the importance of family, what it means to be a real man, core values laid out for his family, and rules for living a 4-hour workweek lifestyle.  Ben is very passionate and candid about how he has set up his life since coming to the United States from Romania, living very frugal, despite having the means to buy whatever his heart desires.  There are huge overtones of how to set up your marriage, your family, and your business to thrive equally, against the constraints often put upon us by society. Ben shares what it was like being the eldest of 9 children and shares his positive disposition and how it’s helped him thrive in an uncommon world.
