This episode highlights the point that emotional abuse in relationships cannot coexist in the same space as love. A person's consistent behaviour is indicative of their intentions and is a reflection on them. How they consistently treat you says everything. If they repeatedly go back to old toxic behaviour patterns, if the relationship constantly feels exhausting or toxic then chances are it will continue to be like this for as long as the relationship exists. If they show you love intermittently then that's a narrative they create to keep you attached. Love and abuse do not and cannot coexist in the same space.
