After a recent trip to my hometown, I reflected on my anxieties and triggers associated with traveling there, and came to terms with myself that it is the traumas associated with my narcissistic father. Growing up as the daughter in a narcissistic household, I had a hard time accepting that both of my parents are narcissists and I was the family scapegoat.
