SMALL GREEN SHOOTS
Charity Small Green Shoots (celebrating their 10th anniversary this September) are dedicated to increasing career opportunities for minority groups in both the music and creative industries. The only UK arts organisation with both a black female Chair and black female CEO - Small Green Shoots helps traditionally underprivileged individuals gain access to the entertainment and creative industries through paid classroom learning and internships, plus access to creative grants - this ensures stable careers for years, not short term, low earning unsustainable intern contracts. In house at Small Green Shoots - 100% of their staff come from low income backgrounds and all roles are fully salaried by SGS.
