It can take anywhere from 500-1,000 years for plastic to degrade. Instead of saying "Oh man, those statistics are staggering... someone should really do something about that...", Hamilton Perkins, the founder and president of Hamilton Perkins collection actually decided to DO something about that. They create amazing, stylish, and functional designer bags from recycled plastic bottles and repurposed billboard vinyl. Hamilton and I had the BEST conversation...
