A late addition to Infernovember! This month we watched “Over the Garden Wall” together, a really perfect Halloween/Autumn/Americana series that should be legally declared a Halloween holiday classic, if it isn’t already. 

Two Youtube videos that heavily informed this episode…obviously Trey the Explainer’s “Over the Garden Wall is Dante’s Inferno,” which is a detailed dive into many of the OTGW/Inferno allusions. Henry Kathman’s “Into the Unknown: A Critical Examination of Over the Garden Wall” loooks at a wider range of literary and media influences, and was very satisfying as a Humanities Major sort of experience. Both recommended!
