I had an opportunity to sit down again with my sweet friend Tricia Michler to talk about all things homeschool. In case you missed her in our previous chat (Episode 30), please go back and listen to that one later. It’s an incredibly fun chat between two SAHMs regarding all things mom-life and the importance of doing things you enjoy outside of motherhood.
This conversation came about incredibly last minute, which makes it even more fun. I had no idea we were both starting up our homeschool programs on the same day, and I decided we HAD to chat about what we each did to prepare, goals for the year, curriculum choices, and what our day-to-day structure will (hopefully) look like. We chat about the struggles, frustrations, and challenges homeschool brings. And of course, we share the absolute beauty and flexibility it allows as well. We touch on the fact that each home can structure their days as they see fit based on their family’s interests and individual needs. Trish is in her third year of home-based learning with 4 kiddos, and I am in my second year with 2 kiddos and a very busy toddler. This impromptu conversation is fun, entertaining, and absolutely relatable for all SAHMs. Grab a cozy beverage and join us!
