There’s a common adage that still remains true, “When one door closes, another one opens.” We’ve experienced how the closing of one door or the failure to achieve one thing can leave us fixated on an opportunity that was never meant to be ours. This fixation will hold us back from fully pursuing other doors that stand wide open for us in our careers, relationships, and lives. We tend to ignore all of the other doors that have opened or all of the things that have gone well when we’re obsessed with the closing of just one door in a million.
