This week I sit down with husband an father of three, Nick Hanly. He works as a Data Analyst at Toyota and has recently began to compete in endurance events - and done quite well.
We discuss Nick's childhood, how he played a lot of sports but never had a serious focus on his training. We talk about some of the challenges of navigating being a Dad in his early twenties, after not long moving to new city. To finish we spend plenty of time discussing Nick's recent endurance sport endeavours and how he has managed to be intentional in the way he approaches life to maximise the priority areas he has.
