This week I took a moment to pause and reflect on my time in Leuven.
Something happened while I was out there. I felt really calm and happy when training even around very high level athletes. I wasn’t overly concerned about their judgement and more focused on finding my own challenges to work up to and progress.
I didn’t compare my training to theirs, but instead just focused on getting better. If I got 1% better that day, I had succeeded.
As a result I progress quite a lot in just 10 days, but more importantly I experienced a real sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in my training.
In this week's episode I take a moment to pause and to try and understand what key factors helped me and how I can replicate them back at home.
