Hi friends, thank you SO much for tuning into this *very special episode* of the BBL podcast. I'm your host, Emily-- health coach, nutrition fanatic, RYT, and believer in you, your heart, and your power.
In this episode, I interview my great friend, Rob Eyler. Rob and I met on a YTT in Costa Rica and instantly connected over our love for yoga, fitness, and similar histories with stimulant dependence.
Rob is truly a kickass gratitude dude-- a grounded hustler with infectious positivity. In my eyes and the eyes of many others, he's a superhero of physical, fiscal, and mental fitness. Rob is a CPA turned RYT, personal trainer, behavioral change expert, handstand professional, absolutely brilliant in what he does, and dope soul all around. He has admirably managed to incorporate all of his skills and authenticity into his own company, GetFit42, to shine a light on the importance that physical and fiscal fitness play in ones health and wellbeing.
In this episode, we speak on how cultivating gratitude and meditation practices has helped us to not only break through reliance on stimulants--Adderall specifically-- naturally! but also ,ear how to shift our perspective and play the growth game. When we learn to grow from the challenges and we come from a place of observance, understanding, and recognition of self. We dive deep into Rob's experience with health and fitness, how yoga, gratitude, and being still shifted everything for him and forced him to take a look inside and make a change in his life. Rob also shares his experience as an entrepreneur AND tips on how to start and sustain your own gratitude practices. If you're interested in starting your own practice or your own business (which you probably will after hearing from this amazing, inspiring human) get your notebooks out-- Rob shares his morning routine-- which I must say is SUPER impressive and effective and you're going to want to remember this. You can find Rob on IG @aguydoingahandstand and on his company's website @ www.getfit42.com.
If you or someone you know has previously or is still currently struggling with dependence on prescription drugs, this is one you're going to want to hear. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
