Today's subject matter is hard, but it is part of the journey on the ascent. I feel it is important to share not only the wins along the way but also the difficult challenges we all face as human beings. My wife and I are on the opposite sides of the political spectrum, and I find myself having to make difficult decisions, have difficult conversations, and deal with a whole flood of different emotions. This episode is not a debate on who's right and who's wrong. This episode is not a politically charged conversation. This episode is about the heaviness in the air that has penetrated households and families across America. It seems that all the stress, anxiety, and fear has come to a head. Maybe you are feeling it too. Maybe your family is experiencing the same emotions. Know you are not alone, and navigating your way through all of this is not easy. We are all human beings, gifts of God, and there is only one way to live: with strength, courage, faith, and treating yourself and others with respect and love.
