“Accidents Happen” (9 March, 1986) Accidents like Space Shuttle’s exploding in front of school children across the nation Happen. Punky (Soleil Moon Frye) wants to be an Astronaut when she grows up but the Challenger Disaster throws her - and the nation - for a loop. Despite it all, Punky still manages to jazz up her astronaut costume with a ton of bandanas and Henry (George Gaynes) dresses in drag for some reason (hint: the reason is Laughs!). On this episode of A Very Special Podcast we hold a Henry Warnamont impression contest, discuss the origins of Punky’s iconic fashion and decide whether or not Henry is a fit parent.
