Hey Clemson Family, this year’s Elite Retreat junior day for Clemson recruiting brought football talent to Death Valley from far and wide, and included a commitment from four-star DL Champ Thompson, we’ll explain an unusual tie to the Tigers for the young man. Thompson’s commitment was followed two days later by another – that one from four-star safety Noah Dixon, bringing Clemson’s count of commits for the 2024 class to five. Plus the festivities drew plenty of attention from top players including CB Omillio Agard, QB Walker White and RB David Eziomume, LBs Sammy Brown and Drew Woodaz, DL Hevin Brown-Shuler and many more. Of more immediate impact, now we have the 2023 Clemson football schedule in front of us and it sets up pretty well but also includes some solid challenges for the Tigers, particularly after the mid-October open date.
