In this episode, I reflect on my journey with using my voice, from being someone who froze in conversations, stayed on the periphery, and left interactions filled with regret, to someone who now trusts herself to speak, share, and be seen.
I explore how what I once saw as being a “good listener” was often a way of hiding, and how not expressing myself led to resentment and disconnection. Through years of practice, speaking in small moments, in women’s circles, on Instagram, and through this podcast I’ve learned to move with my nervous system rather than against it, to see the physical sensations of fear as a signal rather than a stop sign, and to tend to myself as I grow.
I speak about the power of sharing imperfectly, of letting the “brown water” run before clarity comes, and how using our voice connects us to the people we’re meant to find. This is an invitation to all the periphery dwellers, deep feelers, and quiet observers to gently step forward, speak what’s on your heart, and trust that your voice matters more than you know.
