Have you been paying attention to your belief system and the effect it is having on your life?

At this point, hopefully I’ve convinced you that you do have beliefs (because we all do) and that these beliefs can either serve you or hinder you.

A limiting belief is anything that doesn't feel good. I believe that things, and life, gets to feel good.

There are two types of Limiting Beliefs:

  1. Beliefs About Meaning. This is a belief that something is intrinsically true. Examples: Money is evil. Money is the root of all evil. Rich people are greedy.
  2. Beliefs Around Cause and Effect. One thing always causes another thing. Examples: If I have money, then the tax man will take it away. If I get rich my friends will see me differently
  3. The best way to identify a limiting belief: Does this thing that I think, ultimately, feel good? When I think something, does it feel heavy, sticky, intense, or uncomfortable?

    So the key here is to tap into your emotions. Get curious.
