This week I talk to Jonathan Chey of Blue Manchu.
This episode is a little bit off the beaten track but there are loads of cross overs into tabletop/painting world. Jonathan’s company creates video games, and I have bumped into his work many times in the past without knowing but recently when I was thinking about good guests for the show I went to a game I have played for a long time called Card Hunter, which is effectively a dungeon crawler card game but in a video game format, but more of that in the show.
Blue Manchu is a group of games developers who create video games, and some games that Jon has been involved with personally in a very integral role have been: Bio Shock, SWAT 4, Freedom force vs 3 reich, system shock 2, wall street tycoon, The Thief franchise (One I particularly love), and many more.
As I said this is a bit of a change of tack but there are lots of crossovers into modelling, and remember you cant be playing or be at your hobby desk all the time so when you arent then I encourage you to check out Card Hunter because it is really fun, & free to play.
