2023 is the year of balance so we thought we'd bring skin-needling expert and good friend of the pod, Sam Appel into the studio.

We met Sam 6 years ago when she ran a mobile skin-needling clinic across Sydney (we were obsessed!). Fast forward to 2023 and Sam has had quite the adventure - from a corporate job, at-home skin treatments, a stint truffle farming in the Southern Highlands, and finally, to opening multiple amazing skin clinics across Sydney - it's safe to say Sam now runs a fully-fledged skin empire. She's opened 4 (almost 5) incredibly successful @the_skinbar clinics that lead the way in the revolutionary treatment of skin needling.

We chatted with Sam about everything from her journey, Mum life, relationships, the pressures to get botox, why you need a skincare routine + regular treatments, and all her best skincare advice.
