Thank you so much for joining me today. On today's show I share some basic audio tips within Audacity for those who don't want to spend a lot of money of podcast gear. Audacity is a free, easy to use program that works on all major computer operating systems. With a basic USB microphone and a copy of the Audacity program you can create a fantastic sounding podcast. 

On almost every social media platform there are ways to pay to promote your content. On Twitter you can pay to promote a tweet. If you have an episode you're really proud of, you can pay to promote it. The prices will vary based on how long the promotion is going to be. For example if you do a 24 hour promotion it will cost the least and the longer ones cost more. But before you go and spend real money on podcast promotion, you need to get real honest feedback of your show. Someone who isn't' named mom to listen and review it. Honesty is what you need. It's really hard to receive honest feedback on our podcast. You probably spent all sorts of time and energy to create the show, and to hear it's not that great is truly heartbreaking. You can do your show however you want, but I would have someone take a look at it before you pay real money to promote it.
