Redlining was banned 50 years ago. It’s still hurting minorities today. Inequality in the form of policy, is baked into the system and continues to shape our economy widening the wealth gap.
My special guest, Mariah Lichtenstern-Walebowa and I will discuss the history of redlining, its impact on black wealth, entrepreneurship, and the wealth gap today and what we must do about it.
At the intersection of technology, entertainment, and venture capital, Mariah Lichtenstern accelerates positive social, economic, and environmental impact through entrepreneurship. An alumna of UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA, she is the Founding Partner of DiverseCity Ventures and Managing Director of the Founder Institute, Sacramento, California chapter, which was recognized by Forbes Magazine as the 3rd most gender diverse chapter in the world.
