On this week’s edition of the podcast there was only one place to start as Padraig Harrington collected a fourth Major title of his career at the U.S. Senior Open. Harrington held off a strong Steve Stricker challenge to win his first USGA title by a single stroke, making it two Irish wins on the weekend after a first pro win for West Waterford’s Gary Hurley on the Alps Tour. There was also a top-10 for Stephanie Meadow at the KPMG Women’s PGA where slow play and Lexi Thompson was the talk of the weekend despite In Gee Chun’s victory.
