After the difficult productions of Book One and Book Two, alongside tumultuous reception, it seemed like the Avatar sequel series was doomed for cancellation. Thankfully, the complete opposite happened, and although it wouldn't be the end of their production troubles, the creative team were guaranteed two more seasons to plan and execute.
