The weight of Sensitivity

At times it seems that I feel the emotions of the entire world

Inside my body, muscles formed with the water that holds my memories swirl

It feels like such a tremendous weight 

Must this be my fate

To carry the burdens and sorrows of my worldwide family

This is part of the price to be paid when you inherit high sensitivity

Its unwise to dismiss how connected we are

[because of  adam, the facts are]

(On this side we’re

stitched together by imperfections (his) and scars)

We all play our role in the body 

Each of us has a unique function and part

Accepting this is evidence of a sound mind

A good start

Our actions affect

Not just our immediate family

But it has a trickle effect that's relentless and demanding

Partial to your understanding 

It could resemble something uncanny

These emotions wont unhand me

But I put in the effort and make it my life's endeavor to navigate with what I got

I embrace my tendency towards sensitivity regardless of whether its easy or not
