You can miss me with the niceties
It's not really kind you see to say words blindly
There's no need to beat around the bush
So say what you mean, don't hide behind the words so that you can be seen as
One who is nice, good or polite…
The truth is being nice can be contrite, it can slice into authenticity
it interrupts the genuine flow
You go and aim for comfort instead of speaking on what is real, on what you know
Last I heard It’s being real kind that heals...
Souls
Egos
Self esteem
All that and more
What does being nice have in store
Passive aggression
Mixed signals
Facades
Being nice is like beating one's emotions with a rod
Yeah Being kind can be a chore for sure
But that nice stuff leaves more bruises and scars
Being kind takes courage because it's not the intent to please
It's the act of seeing, saying, what is, not simply just what you want it to be…
