Monnie, Granny, Granna, Aunt, etc were the names which they answered to with joy and pride.  There is nothing better than the hands, words, and love of a Grandmother or a Grand Aunt.  They paid the blessings forward and we are still reaping the bounty generations later.  The grandchildren speak about what it means to be a Williams Descendent.
