As a little girl, I always remember being encouraged to read, explore, think outside of the box, imagine, and investigate. My Aunt was like many in education; making sure that others would fair better than she had. She set out to change the way children experienced education because of a traumatic encounter due to the lack of education. And boy, oh boy, did she ever! What legacy of knowing are you leaving your loved ones?

Many of us grew up with the tradition of having Godmothers or Godparents.  The people that our parents trusted to guide us, protect us, support us and love us.  Family is not just blood relationships it’s also intentional, nurtured relationships.  Listen as two godsisters talk about the blessing of a phenomenal godmother and the impact they still feel today!
