It may sound unlikely and overly optimistic to maintain hope during tough times, but Haroon Chaudry proves that nothing really is impossible. During a pandemic, he too is a victim of abrupt layoffs. He started observing everything around him and decided to help people as he utilizes his knowledge to help as many as possible to get back to work.

Meeting The Manager's Needs
In addition to Career Consultation and Job Search Support, Haroon and his company provide Resume Writing, which is an important step in the professional career application process. Haroon shared a few pointers to help you write a resume that will stand out to hiring managers.
- Clearly state what you are looking for
- Write your Professional Resume Summary (4-5 sentences)
- List your Core Competencies (9-10 total skills, Soft Skills and Hard Skills)
- Minimize the number of pages
- For students, a one (1) pager resume which includes nine (9) classes, a few achievements you received, and clubs you are a part of
- For experienced candidates, a two (2) pager resume will suffice
- Capturing the manager's Interest with a designed resume is okay but the content matters more
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
It is good to associate yourself with people who share your goals and collaborate with them, this will result in fruitful cooperation and the possibility of meeting or exceeding your goals. Given that everyone's job is different from one another, it's difficult to work as a team when everyone's role is so different from one another. However, once tasks are delegated properly and teamwork is established, those differences don’t mean anymore, leaving only the results.

Haroon Chaudhry is a manager in Amazon and the CEO of HC Consultant Service LLC, he assists people in securing their career path in both traditional and unconventional ways. He's also polylingual (English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, French (beginner), Arabic (beginner)) and has traveled extensively across Europe during his undergraduate years. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration and completed his studies in Executive Leadership Development at the University of Oxford.
