Tonight on Mr. Spann Official, we get right to it, because we had a lot happen this week. Trump gave a speech before a joint session of Congress and it was as contentious as one would expect for someone so prone to lying. Democratic congressman Al Green from Texas was censured by the Congress for his actions during the speech. One of the Trump lies was about the story he highlighted about a woman named January Littlejohn, and her child allegedly transitioning with the help of school officials without her consent. Stephen A. Smith finds himself being the story again. This time it was about a confrontation that he had with LA Lakers superstar LeBron James over comments he's made about James' son, and his place in the NBA. And while we're talking about the NBA, another superstar finds himself in the news for some unfortunate reasons. Anthony Edwards has been catching heat over the fact that he's been legally declared the father of a child that he wants nothing to do with. Many of the sports media world debating was he trapped by the child's mother, or should he step up and be a part of that child's life. A member of the Southern University Human Jukebox band was killed while participating in a pledging ritual with the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, bringing more scrutiny to the Devine 9 about their intake practices, and ways to prevent this sort of thing from happening going forward. A Detroit Police Officer has been suspended by the force for allegedly trying to groom the daughter of his girlfriend after text messages from him were found in her phone by her father.
