This week Dave and Joe, Chasing Tomorrow podcast co-show hosts, are talking with Vicki Hunter. In 1988, Vicki, qualified for the US Olympic Trials with a 2:49 marathon and was fast becoming a running force in the Boulder community. But in September of 1997 Vicki was severely injured in a car crash while pregnant with her 14-week-old first child and her future was uncertain. We talk to Vicki about the journey back and forth from the highs to the lows and her indefatigable nature. She has had quite the journey and is we talk about the role that running has played in her life to push her and balance her and the journey to peace and reconciliation.
