This week's episode continues my Illuminated Institutions series with Freemasonry Pt. 5. On this addition of The Oddcast I look into the texts concerning the oaths, & obligations in various Freemasonry manuals, & Degree Ceremonies. What exactly are they agreeing to? Is it, once a Mason, always a Mason even if you leave the Lodge? Are you bound to support hierarchy even if you disagree with them, or other brothers?

It is my theory that the geometric shape of the U.S. Pentagon building was chosen because it represents the 5 points of fellowship in Freemasonry. Connected at its points the Pentagram m, which represents the five points, fits perfectly within the Pentagon in sacred geometry, and so does the point within the circle.
