Jeanne Cavelos is a former senior editor for Bantam Doubleday Dell, and winner of the World Fantasy Award, a former NASA scientist, and an author of several books, including "The Science of Star Wars", "The Science of The X-Files", and the best-selling The Passing of the Techno-Mages trilogy set in the Babylon 5 universe. She has been running and teaching at the Odyssey workshop since 1996.
