Julio Anta is a writer based in New York City. Raised in Miami, in a Cuban and Colombian family, Julio strives to tell narratively rich stories about diverse and empowered Latinx characters for Adult, Young Adult, and Middle Grade readers.

His debut comic book series, HOME, is out now, courtesy of Image Comics.

Julio’s forthcoming work includes FRONTERA, a YA graphic novel from HarperAlley, and SI SE PUEDE, a non-fiction graphic novel from Ten Speed Press, releasing in Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 respectively.

She later worked as a marketing consultant for Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project), before launching her career as an agent. She has worked with all major publishers, including Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Macmillan, Hachette, and Scholastic, and currently represents New York Times and internationally best-selling authors in the categories of business, health, lifestyle, popular science, narrative nonfiction, memoir, and upmarket fiction.
