David Peel and David Lannan were both busking singer-songwriters. The former went around New York with his backing band, The Lower East Side, performing "drinking songs for stoners" while the latter serenaded local San Franciscians with traditional and self-penned folk songs. Both connected with their ever changing crowd. while also sometimes pissing off others, and these records showcase both.
