In today's episode of KTP, we speak with Laurie Crouse of Top Hat and Special Teas, the most adorable tea room and restaurant in Florence South Carolina. Laurie has been operating Top Hat since the year 2000. Crouse investment in downtown came a full 13 years before the major revitalization efforts there. A lot has happened over the last 20 years, but nothing that has challenged Laurie and Top Hat like COVID-19. We talked about how the pandemic has impacted the day-to-day operations of Florence's premier tea room.
