When building something you're passionate about, there's ups and downs, good days and bad days! You learn a lot about yourself and how you handle many different situations.
This week was definitely a week of discover for this gal! I had many moments of self-awareness that I reflected on at the end of the week, some not so great moments that I'm definitely not proud of, but learned from!
Learning how to know when to say "whoa, time to take a break" before you snap on the people around you for things that are out of their control has been something I need to work on personally. Learning about yourself and how to handle and recognize the signs of burnout and fatigue is a process and a learning curve! When you are so passionate about something, it's super easy to allow your brain to be confused about the emotions you're feeling. Stress and Passion can be one and the same in your brains eye, as is anxiety and excitement! Becoming aware of those feelings and being able to tell the difference is a skill in itself. Furthermore, being able to change the trajectory of those feelings is an even higher skill that I will be working on daily! Just like any skill, it takes time, practice and patience!
So give yourself that grace, learn from your mistakes, swallow your pride and your ego and move forward into a state and a life that you can feel truly good about!
