You've heard those uplifting, encouraging phrases about the empowerment movement that portray this image of being in control of things, being tough, independent, someone who has it all together.  Well, I might differ here.  Although I do think that all those qualities are good in some people, I also think that for others it is not always the case. What if you don't resonate with being loud and bold?  Does that make you not in your power?  I don't think so.
