  1. Take any experience and use it as a learning lesson.
  2. Focus on gratitude for accomplishments.
  3. Invest in yourself and your team.
Summary After studying business and realizing that he could make money in sales, the speaker decided to put his head down and work hard to become successful. He started in tech sales and earned more and more money, eventually living way below his means and investing his commission checks in real estate. He now owns 230 doors   Tony started out with a 9-5 job and used the paycheck to invest in real estate. His identity shifted from being a salesperson to an entrepreneur. His mindset has evolved to focus on creating a real estate portfolio to fund his lifestyle and family, and he is passionate about helping others   Calvin is a first-generation Asian American and grew up with parents who taught him the value of hard work. He left a cushy job to pursue a more purpose-driven life and now helps people achieve financial freedom. His mission in life is to help people create abundance in their lives   Calvin wants to help people become financially free and use that extra time to help others. He and his wife work together to achieve this goal. He takes people on a path of self-development and growth, starting with the mindset and then tactics   He believes failure is a crucial part of the process. Calvin Chen shares his mindset for success - to take any experience and use it as a learning lesson, not a failure. He recommends examining the concrete facts rather than succumbing to fear and taking action to build a team and analyze/negotiate/operate deals   Every day, the speaker prepares for success by having hot calls with his team, meditating, doing investment firm stuff, coaching, blogging, and taking walks to clear his mind. Growing up, he had a close group of friends whom he still keeps in touch with today. When he was in his early 20s, he remembers his friends wanting to go out to bars and party but he chose to go to a Tony Robbins event instead   He learned to be on his own wavelength and invested in a mindset coach and masterminds to help him grow. He and his wife spent over six figures last year on personal coaching. The speaker shares their advice of investing in yourself and reminds us to focus on gratitude for our accomplishments, rather than fear of potential failure   They also reference the book 'The Gap in The Game'. Calvin shares his rule for life: "If it won't matter in five years, don't worry more than five minutes". He offers help and resources for real estate, coaching, and raising capital   Connect With Calvin:    Instagram    Zen Coast University    YouTube

How to Get Involved:

Patrick Bolanos is a serial entrepreneur, business owner, and CEO of Trailer King Builders in Houston, Texas.

He was raised in Nicaragua, exposed to extreme poverty, and also had the fortune of being exposed to life in the United States traveling back and forth to both countries.

After college, Patrick’s career took him into the corporate world of banking where he learned the important lessons of understanding what you’re selling and why it’s important to believe in it.

Back in December of 2017, Patrick was fired from his job as a CFO for a Restaurant Group.  With only $500 to his name, rent due, his wife, 3 children at home, and one on the way, he was forced to figure out how to pull his family out of this financial abyss that was strangling his life.

With no knowledge of how to build a trailer, Patrick simply figured all of it out and has now built it into the thriving empire of what’s now become Trailer King Builders.

This show highlights the failures, successes, lessons, and insights from Patrick and his guests. Bring your notepads and pens. You’re in for a real-life education.
