Gina started out as a Financial Advisor in 2014 and wondering if she really wanted to do this long term even though she was successful in this role. She had a desire for a different future and wanted to change and grow her skills and take a new path into another career, her vision for how she wanted to live and have a growing business with more control over her time and life.

She learned how to do freelance writing and was able to take on few clients and started her side business as a Virtual Assistant. 

She dispels the notion that VA’s are mostly overseas and work for a very low rate, and found that there are a lot of VA’s in the US that have thriving businesses with US clients.

She explains how she got her first clients through job boards and cold pitches to companies that were hiring and her original pitch techniques and how she recommends pitching now.

Gina tells how to price your services and how to pitch yourself as the solution and also how she shifted from an hourly rate to a weekly rate.

She continues with how she was able to increase her side business rate and eventually quit her day job.

Gina now helps people to become self employed with control over who they work with and what they charge.
