Chad Staggs is the defensive coordinator at Coastal Carolina. His original goal was to just be a math teacher and coach high school, but then he had the opportunity to coach at the college level and took it. He discusses how he has adapted his coaching when moving to a new program, how his defensive philosophy has changed throughout the years, and some of the elements he looks for when he hires other coaches.
