Digging a little deeper beyond how we met. We have actually never asked each other if finding an Asian partner was a choice of our own, or if it was something that our parents instilled in us.

In the Asian community, it is often an expectation from the parents that we have to find a partner that is also Asian, sometimes also in the exact same nationality but was this the case for us?

We also discuss what we particularly looked for as an ideal partner and discussed if that changed before and after meeting each other.
