Just after Moses intercedes for the people and stops God from destroying Israel with a plague, Korah incites rebellion against God's appointed leader. Instead of openly blaspheming against God, the people now try to usurp the authority that God has placed within the community. Naturally, God was not happy with that and showed the people to respect God-given authority. This speaks to us today to honor and respect what God has placed in our lives.
