EP 9 Stroke Yourself - Mentally, Physically and Emotionally

Stroke Yourself Emotionally, Mentally, and Physically every day. It is crucial for inner happiness and peace. It will also provide a mindset filled with self-love and worth. In order to do so, you must commit to yourself.  That means making yourself a priority.

Ways to do so:
Wake up and give gratitude
While getting ready in the morning say a few words of Affirmation.
Meditate
Work out
schedule time for play (painting, music lesson, hobby, sport, walking)
Say No when it doesn't serve you or your schedule
Say YES to something new. Be willing to be uncomfortable.

Time for yourself is Crucial and Healthy.

Fuck all the shit and the honey-do list
Fuck your responsibilities and let go.
Plan a few hours for yourself each week.

Read a book, work out, have a glass of wine, get a massage, grab a beer with a friend, sit outside in the sun, or do something out of the ordinary. Don’t get into trouble though.
Bust out of the routine. What will it hurt? Stop making excuses for why you can’t. It will make you feel free and better.

Start reading inspirational books. I loved these books: POWER OF YES, UNFU*K YOURSELF, and MINI HABITS.

Do you have a better understanding of your personal happiness?
What is one thing you plan to do tomorrow?                 
Remember to start with one item. Don’t get overwhelmed. Healing and happiness can take time. Don’t set yourself up for failure or too high of expectations. Most likely your expectations caused you not to be happy in the first place.

Before you move on to your professional life, you must be happy personally. Honestly, your colleagues can’t help you or will push you deeper into depression. Some may even cost you your job, salary, and family. Take my word for it. You must be strong, confident, and happy.
