Do you want to know the secret to breaking through?
There may be more to it than meets the eye.
Last night, I was catching up on one of my favorite shows….
Dragon Ball Super!!!
I grew up on watching Dragon Ball Z. I used to imitate all of the heroes…
And I know you know I tried to go Super Saiyan….Just like YOU!
So I was thrilled whenever the series was revitalized.
Anyway…
One of the characters that I’ve always loved, but had taken a backseat during the entire Dragon Ball Z series except for his comic relief moments….
Master Roshi, has apparently turned full bad ass behind the scenes along the way.
While participating in the Grand Xeno’s tournament with all of the universes, he was taking out very strong opponents like the seasoned grandmaster he was.
He pulled out the old tricks….yes the ones from the original Dragon Ball.
Evil Containment Wave…
Sleepy Boy Trance….
He even overcame his weakness for women through special training!
He came up against a warrior from the 4th universe that looked like a Super Saiyan Duck when he transformed.
Roshi got tossed around and beat up for a second, but ended up unleashing his kamehameha wave. (Big Overhand Right technique for the non informed).
But Roshi said something that really spoke to me about limitations.
“You can watch my limits go straight to Hell”.
He defeated his opponent, and sacrificed his life giving every last ounce of his energy.
It looked bleak there as the others tried to resuscitate him, but Goku revives him with some of his own energy.
The two walk off back into the center of the battlefield reminiscing about the “spunky angels” that were everywhere.
Classic Roshi….
Don’t accept your perceived limitations.
Whatever it is that’s holding you back. Let it go. Go to that point and prove to yourself that you always have a little bit more.
