The most common contract to buy a house in Florida is the “As Is” contract. But what does "As Is" mean?
And what should you look for during the inspection period?
When you have the home inspected, it is not a matter of Passing or Failing. You are provided the opportunity to get to know the property. How it works. What it is made of. It is the time to ask questions. To really decide if this is the house for you.
There is no point to getting the home inspected if you are not going to look at the inspection. And no one can do it for you. It is your money, your house, your duty to check it out. You don’t want to be surprised after the closing.
In this episode we discuss things to look for during the inspection. Some that your inspector will catch, but some that you as the Buyer need to see for yourself. Or hire a specialist to inspect further.
